Normally Pink Floyd, Neil Young, CSNY, etc., with a good smattering of Motown.
It all depends on what sounds good at the moment.

Thanks I hadn't heard of either of these groups and they're both worth checking out. Funny, I swear I hear hints of King Crimson in a couple of Nude's songs. 'Beached' is one.

Here is a link to some of my old music for the Japanese side.

In addition to this I listen to the soundtrack from HBO's "The Pacific" and "Band of Brothers" for that epic feel...

I guess I am a traditionalist- I play the default soundtrack, minus a couple that I don't care for, then replace those with theme-appropriate music. One I can think of immediately is Song of the High Seas from Victory at Sea.

The sound track from Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story goes pretty good with it if you like an oriental flavour. Some tunes are staccato fast (like the action scenes), some are slow and calming (like the love scenes).

If I want oriental flavour, I will use soy sauce.

I like to listen to 1960s/1970s hippy music about peace and illicit pharmasceuticals!
