Missing scenarios after installing H&L mod

I've just loaded the H&L Core mod, Documents, Scenarios, & the Historical scenarios. After doing this, I can no longer see the original scenarios nor the tutorials. I'm assuming I did something wrong but before restarting from scratch I just wanted to check and make sure that I still should be able to access these scenarios after loading the H&L mods. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your interest in the Heroes of Stalingrad Forum and for your kind words about the "Heroes and Leaders mod."

First of all, I want to let you know that I'm not the only person who regularly posts on this forum. There's another friend, "CHINCHIN," who also posts on this forum and regularly helps me with the errors he finds in my "Heroes and Leaders mod."

I also want to apologize for not having read your comments in "Tech Support" until now.

In response to your question about installing the "H&L Core mod, Documents, Scenarios, & the Historical scenarios," I recommend that you carefully read the "README" file, if you haven't already, where you can find detailed instructions on how to install the mod.

The main point is that you don't have to delete any files from the original game, and that both games can coexist without any problems.

I recommend you reinstall the original game and follow the steps in the README file.

Finally, while all the work I do is voluntary, that doesn't mean I don't have the time to help you however I can. So, if you need any additional help, don't hesitate to contact me.

I have tried to reinstall everything again. I've read the pdf instruction for installing H&L Mod multiple times and I believe I'm doing it correctly but, after I load the Mod, I can no longer see the original scenarios nor the tutorial scenarios when I go to select a new game. Here's the steps I'm taking:

1) Load the game from the original installer
2) update the game to v1.10 with the file from the download section under My Page.
3) At this point I confirmed that I can see the original scenarios and tutorials.
4) Followed the step by step instructions to install the core H&L Mod files. I copied all the files from the mod download to my installation folder and made sure that I was putting them in the correct sub-folders. I allowed the computer to overwrite any files that were the same but, beyond that I didn't delete anything.

After this, I opened the game (which now displays the new H&L splash screen) and I can see all the new scenarios (beginning with "AHLC" ) but the original scenarios aren't listed and when I click on the Tutorial button no scenarios are listed.

I can see that the maps for the original scenarios and tutorials are still in the C:\Matrix Games\Lock n Load Heroes of Stalingrad\maps subfolder but for some reason the game isn't looking to them. It's only getting the information from the new data in the Heroes and Leaders mod folder.

Do you have any ideas what I should try next?

Seeing the steps you've taken, I have to say that you proceeded correctly.

However, and looking more closely at the features of my version of "Heroes and Leaders mod," I've now remembered that there are several files specific to "Heroes and Leaders mod" that replace the original version of "Heroes of Stalingrad."

Specifically, these files are:
- modules.dat
- units.xls
- nations.xls
- events.xls
- terrain.xls

Each specific matrix of information in the Excel files significantly modifies the nature of the game, replacing the original matrices.

Simply put, you either play the original version of "Heroes of Stalingrad" or you play the expanded and modified version of "Heroes and Leaders mod."

I was wondering if that may have been these case. It makes sense.

I've just created two installations of HoS on my computer (one for H&L, and one for the original). It's all good now. Thanks a lot for your help and your ongoing support of this game and our hobby.
