Double Time movement

Post by alwaysdime »

One thing I always hated about Campaign Series is the double time. Can add to ability to undo it or add a view option showing what hex's a unit could reach? It would be like the standard move view but with double time factored in.

That would be a good option.

Not sure how hard it would be to implement though.

I never liked that either, but you can sort of figure it out. According to the manual: "From the moment that the unit is commanded to use Double Time, it pays only three-fourths of the normal AP cost to enter a hex (or cross a terrain hexside) during that turn." You might need a calculator and a jar of aspirin, though. :)

I will have a look if we can tie this to EFOW optional rule for instance.

If your saying East Front, does that mean it or Cold War are imminent?

EFOW = Enhanced Fog of War.

Cold War will still be first.

No, not soon, unfortunately.

I'm still building data. It's a tedious task, but will be all amazing when it is done!

Unfortunately, this is very much hard wired in as how a Unit behaves. I will keep it on top of the wish list, but it won't make the cut for the coming updates.
