CC5 Install Red Storm Rising

I found an old laptop and I found the old RSR zip files plug in and maps RSR 1.0.

failed to copy SSI/Close Combat Normandy/CC5.exe to System/Original/CC5.exe because SSI/Close Combat Normady/CC5.exe does not exist
I looked in the Config System folder, found the RSR.exe opened the game from here, it stopped CC5 CD was not detected.

Full install from CC5 cd
install patch 5.0
install cfg config
install RSR plug in and maps
open config and right click on red storm rising to install
Install Failed

Anyone have any ideas what I can try next.
