I'm enjoying these updates. It's going to be an entirely new engine by the time EFIII hits.
That is true, but that is progress!

Or we're trying anyway!

The old boxes were also causing me to squint too much, and (I'm telling myself) I'm not quite that old yet.

Thank you, Benpark! I’m quite looking forward to everyone having a chance to try this out with the Public Betas, and to hear your feedback on how we can further evolve the design to make it even more informative and clear

Per a request in Vietnam 2.10 Public Beta thread, a Delete button is now available for deleting old save files from tab 2. On tab 1, Scenario listing, it is grayed out.

If OLDER/OLDEST backup files are found from disk, those are deleted too. And instead of a physical delete, selected files are moved to Recycle Bin and can be restored from there.

Hello. I wanted to suggest some possible graphical changes in the new version of CS:GO. 1. Is it possible to enlarge the effects of burning wrecks? Smoke, flames, and wrecks should be slightly larger. 3D markers for minefields and barbed wire. Perhaps the barbed wire layout on a hex should be placed at its edges (as was the obstacle symbol in the old Campaign)? The minefield icon is an interesting idea, but perhaps it could use the solution from the old Campaign Series, an icon depicting a sign with the word MINES and a skull symbol? Perhaps combine the mine symbols with the sign placed on the hex? Is it possible to sharpen and contrast the details of the new terrain to make them more readable at high resolutions? The improved map graphics are a step in the right direction. Could you please consider refining them even further? Overall, the impressions of the new version are very positive. Thanks for the very hard and excellent work on the games :)

Hello Norbert, those soundl like excellent ideas for your own Marker mod! That is why we pack the JSGME mod enabler tool with the game: it is easy and safe to try various mods with it.

Finally, the Scenario Information dialog is now modeless, so you can keep it open say together with Scenario Briefing dialog, while playing the game.

So if you've got a double display game rig, you can place these on the secondary display, while playing the game in primary display. The screen edge scrolling area setup has been improved as well, so it is now easier to access not only the icon toolbar at the bottom but also the unit list side panel on left/right depending how you prefer it.

As I continue to develop the UK order of battles, it's always interesting to find some fascinating organizations. Like this one, the forces that were moved to Kuwait to thwart a threatened invasion by Iraq in 1961.
