Looking to get back into playing recommendations on how to quick to get started

Post by ladner »

Like the title states, looking to get back into playing this. I remember struggling mightily with the air mode under manual control. So what does the forum at large recommend for getting back into playing this monster of game?

Had been playing a lot of Hearts of Iron IV. Finally just the absurdity of it all, like playing the Soviet Union and having the Romanians collapse your front line just became too much to bear. Similarly trying to find a good on-line guide only to have a streamer show up with check out my ultimate USSR guide and it starts off with a amphibious invasion of the Netherlands in 1936.

Similarly the broken vehicle designers, which would leave one to believe that the T-35 heavy tank or similar monstrosity with multiple turrets and field howitzer for main armament was the key to winning WW2.

Bottom line want to play a WW2 game that is well a WW2 game not some mad-scientist sandbox of pseudo-WW2.

Context played WiTP and WiTE1. Recall WiTE1 it was easy to abuse HQ build up. Have started looking at AARs. Hardluckagain seems to have nice, detailed step by step walk through
