Might be worth re-posting on Tech Support? They might be able to help.

Best to go direct to support@matrixgames.com, as we won't have any idea how to fix this either because it's not specifically game/campaign related.

Didn't play much early 2025.
Looks like I won't be finishing my current 4 games.
Computer is old, battery & connection history.
Cannot boot. Computer is dead.
Too much coffee in the keyboard over the years and age.
Maybe I'll take it to some shop, maybe I won't.

Installed SC-WaW on this new smaller screen computer with new Windows.
New Windows is awful, *keyboard too small for my fingers, screen is too small.
Additionally, on the install, the SC-WaW game is with different Username.
Computer #2 is unplayable for games.

This could be it, unless I go buy a computer I can actually see the game on the screen then add real Icons.

I justify my purchases based on the time spent in an activity. I spend money on bicycles to get the most enjoyment from hours riding. And for the same reason I make sure my computer maximises the hours spent playing SCWAW. I suspect JJR, that your hours enjoying this game are worth investing in a new machine. I hope to see you continue in this community!

Ha! No doubt. I joke about it all the time. Tank of Gas 4 years ago for my Truck, was over $100/Tank. The game cost me $50 maybe. I've played over 200+ games of SC-WaW. So yeah, I'm worth a new computer. Need a bigger screen. Need the old Icons. Need a keyboard that's bigger as my fingers. The computer I have is more for Amazon purchases, Stock checks, Sports checks, and streaming shows while doing other stuff.

Money is just something I need, in case I don't die tonight.

Hi Elvis,
yes Old Shanes comments are spot on, must be able to buy a reasonable computer for not a huge outlay. In Australia we can as you dont need it to be the fastest. You are a good competitor who I have always enjoyed our games so please go get yourself an appropriate PC. You will the get a good 5 years out of it so cheap entertainment.
Good luck :)

You could always keep the new PC and plug in a large screen monitor and a more suitable key board?

JJR just get a cheap 17 inch laptop and plug in a 32 inch monitor. SC doesn't need a Nvidia graphics card or anything expensive, just make sure you get enough RAM and a solid state disk drive. The 17 inch keyboard is big enough and you'll have portability as a bonus. Should be less than a grand!

Thanks for the tips, guys.
Bucket full of old phones, broken computers, basket full of cables.
My life needs an extreme makeover. Really don't want possessions.
Need new computer desk, more counter room.
Considering buying an RV & new piece of dirt.
Keep fixed costs down & be mobile half the year.

Been playing alot of games on "Board Game Arena".
SC-WaW is like a drug. I'm always thinking/checking for my next turn.
Not necessarily healthy.

this computer screen is 13". Unplayable. Need my glasses too, isn't life grand.

Was playing some face-2-face Advanced Squad Leader, but schedule with my opponent been rough.

I apologize to the 4 players we had games going. Laying the blame on Matrix for f_ing up my Usernames on their multi-forum platform merger.

My gaming days are on the shelf, for the time being.
Better chance I'll be playing some Advanced Squad Leader.
Would like to attend a tournament, most are regional.
Not to play, but just hang-out.
My knowledge of the rules are, blah.

I did this skit in school, with a girl I was crazy for.
We soft dated, off/on, eventually she went to Hollywood, I went to Florida to golf.
