Swapping ships triggers a crash

I attempted to "swap" the position of two Axis ships and received and error message and the game crashed. This happened again when I opened the game again and again tried the swap. Playing another gamer via PBEM++.

This happened again in another game against another opponent, different scenario. I try to have two ships next to each other swap positions, and the game crashes.

Yes I had the same issue as well. Exactly the same, game crashed with same error message. Retried with a different ship for same result.

If you are fixing that perhaps you should put in swapping with air units to another air unit. I know air units and land units is used strategically but air units should be able to switch between themselves.

Just had this happen in American Civil War, so it seems to be an issue across the patches that recently came out.

I was told that if one of the air units conducted actions, they can't swap. Don't know the why behind this change.

On Monday, October 27th, a patch for ACW was released, which apparently fixed the problem. However, I can’t find anything about it in the patch notes.
In addition, the free campaign “1894 Imperial Twilight” has already been released — thanks for that!
Now it seems that only the patch for WITP is still missing. Why that is, only God knows.

The current version is 1.11.01.01.01, which isn’t listed in the notes at all:

Strange. The save file that caused the problem for me (see screenshot above) now works and no longer causes a crash. I have the Steam version. Maybe someone from the dev team could comment on this topic.

SC: ACW. I updated from the website. Playing it via PBEM++ in the game on my PC, not Steam.

Checked the website and see that there was a new patch uploaded on 27 Oct. Didn't know about it, so I'm installing it now.

Correct, the update on Steam was reverted to the previous version, then they will be rolling out a corrected game exe in due course.

The Matrix and GOG versions are still correct and has the issue fixed, it is only the Steam one that needs to be updated now.
