roughly how long ago was the devastating shakturi event? i.e. when you start the game, how long ago was that.

Shakturi first arrived in the galaxy aprx. 500 yrs ago according to some Wiki.
Not sure if that info is all correct.

I have not been able to locate some official timeline or chart
