Experience with Linux

Post by deMangler »

I searched the forum, and I see that some people have played ATG under linux with mixed success.
I normally play Shadow Empire, but am thinking of buying ATG partly as an excuse to throw Vic some money, partly because I am sure I would love the combat, but there won't be much point if I can't run it.
Anybody have anything to share about experiences running ATG under linux?
Thanks :)

I would contact Vic himself and ask Ernie and ask this question. Sorry, I don't know this answer.

EDIT: Sorry should have read your post more carefully. Good luck with the attempt. :)

There are some threads on here that contain the word "Linux" if you search for it.

It seems others have been able to get it to work, albeit, only the 32 bit version, which is the windows XP version. You may need to be a pioneer here, since the current version is 64 bit.
