Much to my surprise I managed to take Johore Bharu this turn.
WOW!!!

Stunning. Amazing!! WTG!!!!

I've never seen this type of successful counter-attack. Brilliant work!!!
It looks like it is only a matter of time before this gets reversed. I doubt I can hold on long enough to grind down the army at Singapore.

There are a butt load of troops at Malacca who look to be heading in my direction (highlighted). Also note that there are Allied troops at Johore Bahru itself, who must have arrived after I took the base.

The P-47 is a very good aircraft (unfortunately)

It looks like there is a single Indian Division at Johore Bahru at this point, so the reversal is not completely imminent.

Meanwhile, he has also started bombing Babeldoab with unescorted 4E bombers. However most of the B-24 losses you can see below were at Singapore, where my CAP remains unexhausted. Though it is looking decidedly ragged. More and more P-47s are popping up, and I have nothing which can compete with them.

Yeah, N1K, and Ki-84 are about the only things that can work at this point, but you have to have been aiming for them from the start in a PDU On game. F4U's should also be a real problem, but he may be hiding those yet ....

EDIT: Defensively, the J2M is your best choice against the P47 or F4U

Soggy Biscuit is disintegrating

Post by Captain Cruft »

There are now 4 Allied Divisions at Johore Bahru, with more on the way by the looks of it. I have not managed to build any forts yet.

He has also deposited a butt load of aerial mines there, which makes things difficult as I have no minesweepers in the vicinity ...
