SdKfz 251?

Post by pelle »

I was thinking while a was playing as a idea to change or put in a icon of an Hanomag and have it as armourd bn's to each pzdiv (2bn each)?attack 1,defense 2! Maybe a crazy/
stupid idea but I cant get that out of my head!

unfortunately the whole idea of impimenting Bn's of the halftrack wouldn't work. for one (and please correct me if i'm worng!) operationally i'm sure halftracks were mostly behind the tanks, and in general would be engaged after the tanks broke through. in the game it would get equal billing with the tanks, and with such a low defence rating it would suffer massive casualties. all the Bn's would always be almost empty!

also in regards to onboard inf each tank/cavalry/mech div already has inf included so in the game the halftracks are 'implied'.

for all i know mabe the game uses the ikon late in the war as the recon ikon instead of the other one - but probrably not.
