Need some clarification regarding the discount please

I've been considering purchasing FPC: Cold War since I own and have enjoyed all of the titles in the series so far, but I'm a bit confused regarding the wording of the 50% discount offer.

The offer says:
As a thank you to our longtime supporters, existing Flashpoint Campaigns: Southern Storm owners will receive a 50% discount when purchasing Flashpoint Campaigns: Cold War.

To receive the discount, please select the Flashpoint Campaigns: Cold War Upgrade bundle when making a purchase on Steam or directly through the Matrix Games website.

But, when I go to the purchase page and look at it I see the Upgrade Bundle price is $54.98 (50% of $109.98), and that the Bundle includes Cold War and Southern Storm.

Full price of Cold War is $49.99, and since I already own Southern Storm, shouldn't my price be $25.00? or am I mis-interpreting things?

If you own SS, the bundle will show that and drop that amount of the total, and you get CW for 50% off. Yes, the info on the store page is confusing. I have already mentioned that to the Matrix folks.

The Shopping Cart page doesn't register the discount though, as if the user's ownership status of Southern Storm was dropped. Or that the coupon code wasn't generated.

Just to double-check, were you logged into your Matrix store account and did you have your copy of Southern Storm registered with that account before you checked out?

First day purchase, the bundle code worked the treat. Thanks for this great sequel to a great series!

You need to be logged into your Matrix Store account and have registered your copy of Southern Storm. With that said, it turns out there was a bug in our site which is being fixed.

Our IT folks are saying it will be fixed in 30 minutes. The issue is how you add bundle into the shopping cart. If you add the bundle using button from inside the bundle, it works as intended. If you add the bundle into the shopping cart by pressing a button in a list of products it does not work.

Well, until this whole thing is straightened out, I guess I'll have to pass on buying. I'm not claiming to be the sharpest pencil in the pack but I'm confused now, and just a bit frustrated. This is after reading the whole thread through twice now. And just to clarify, I have checked on this while being signed in at the store using my account.

There's always Steam, even if I don't like using it.
