[RESOLVED] B1774.7z Download issue

I've tried to download the new Build 1774.7 but it won't complete the download. I get all 186MB downloaded, showing 0MB left to download, but I never get the "open" prompt and the file is shown as an "Unconfirmed XXXX.crdownload" in my File Manager. I've disabled my Norton's antivirus, so looking for some assistance on how to get passed this issue and complete the download. Thanks.

No, but consider this issue resolved. About 20 minutes after the download was complete, the download showed up as a zip file (as usual) in my File Manager, and it extracted fine, so not sure what that delay was all about.

In my case, it was Windows’ real-time virus and threat protection running in the background that kept the download from finishing. Even though this protection works system-wide, Microsoft Edge also hooks into it and has to wait for the scan to complete before it lets the download finish — and that can take a bit.

You can manually turn off these scans, especially for files that aren’t officially signed and might otherwise get blocked for security reasons. But you should only do that if you’re sure the file is safe.
