Turn 13. Sep/Oct 1941. Allied #3. Impulse Planning.

USSR.
(1) The Soviets have decided to try to take Port Arthur would be suicide and have convinced Moscow to mark that sub directive as a fail.
(2) Instead, the Soviets in Asia will rail Zhukov to the Manchurian/Chinese border to establish FTC in China next turn, or even this turn by playing their O-chit to reorg the HQ.
(3) While expensive, if Zhukov can catch the Japanese in North China by surprise and wreak havoc it might be worth it.
(4) Yeremenko will pivot east (southeast) back Korea and create whatever havoc he can there.
(5) However; both Zhukov and Yeremenko are under strict orders with threat of death (firing squad) NOT to capture any additional Japanese controlled RP.
(6) It's imperative that the Soviet Union remain active in order to pull back during mid to late next turn on the Eastern Front; hopefully in snow.
(7) However; it's most encourage for Zhukov & Yeremenko to break rail of Japanese controlled RPs to disrupt as much Japanese production that they can.

(1) US NAV Gps in Greenland are in supply?
(2) Looks like the CW CP line supplies Greenland, though Greenland was "conquered" by the US.
(3) Is that correct?

Turn 13. Sep/Oct 1941. Allied #3. RN Sea Lift Reserve.

(1) RN sea lift reserve in anticipation (hope) that the RN can clear the West Med, after which indicated ground forces can be moved directly to the North African front via West Med.
(2) Clearing the West Med did NOT happen this impulse as either side failed to make contact.

Turn 13. Sep/Oct 1941. Axis #5. Impulse Planning. Germany & Italy.

BOA Risk/Reward Analysis.
(1) Two potential (U-boat/Sub) raids (North Atlantic & Faeroes Gap) were analyzed.
(2) However; risk/reward for either area was too unfavorable that no more U-boat/Sub attacks this turn will be made.
(3) This results in WAR-GER-103, "Disrupt Allied CP Line" marked as a fail.
(4) So, Germany & Italy both take a land.
(5) Germany will use their land moves to better organized (weather permitting) on the Eastern Front.
(6) Italy will use their land moves primarily in North Africa.
(7) German fighter wing based in Dusseldorf for Reich Air Defense has been reassigned to the Eastern Front and will rebase to Poland (just off the frontier).
(8) This fighter wing will be replaced by an Italian fighter wing in Trieste, which will rebase to Dusseldorf this impluse.

North Atlantic.
Pr(Sub) = 0.14
Ex[Kill | Sub] = 3.6 BP
Ex[Loss | Sub] = 1.7 BP
Risk/Reward Ratio = 1:2.1

Pr(Surface)=0.30
Ex[Kill | Surface] = 0.6 BP
Ex[Loss | Surface] = 2.6 BP.

Bay of Biscay.
Pr(Sub) = 0.21
Ex[Kill | Sub] = 3.4 BP
Ex[Loss | Sub] = 1.3 BP
Risk/Reward Ratio = 1:2.6

Pr(Surface)=0.30
Ex[Kill | Surface] = 0 BP
Ex[Loss | Surface] = 1.3 BP.

Turn 13. Sep/Oct 1941. Axis #5. Impulse Planning. Japan.

(1) With storm in the China Sea, threat from 2 (of 3) Soviet Sub Gps & possibly CA in Vladivostok against 5 unescorted IJN CP is high.
(2) Japan takes a combine to get both adequate escorts [0] & patrols [4] in the China Sea.
(3) Japan's 3 LMs will be used to debark Yamashita to China and address the horrible situation opposite Mao in Northern China.
