Bomb hits and aircraft damage

Post by Yaab »

I know the following result may be interpreted as five hits on a single Buffalo fighter, but do bigger bombs like 250kg bombs, which have more Effectivness, can damage several aircraft at once provided aircraft have low durability?

I think it depends on a lot of variables, like spacing of aircraft. How they're parked, where they're parked, and of course, their proximity to the runway....GP

Do you think that is calculated into the game?? Neat if it was. What I want to know is how multiple damage is handled on planes - like, does it build up?

Look at the planes in the units.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

What RJ said. After a raid you can look at the unit's planes and see their damage levels and, if they go into mandatory repairs, the repair time is estimated too. And of course, bigger bombs have more potential to damage multiple aircraft or do more damage to a few aircraft.
AFAIK, fortification of an air base would include things like dispersal areas, revetments for individual aircraft and camouflage.

Fortification levels above (I believe) four also have barrage balloons for low flying aircraft to hit. That is not very good for the aircraft supposedly.

AF and Port attacks are also good way to stop enemy to build fortifications, since repairs are prioritized.
