SPWAW FAQs

Post by bchapman »

I notice that the FAQ thread at the top still has a link that doesn't work. Can we get this fixed or do we need to start a new one? I'm seeing the same questions asked by the newer players over and over. Maybe this would help them out[:)]

First and foremost: Manual.
Manual is automatically installed on your computer from 7.1 on up. It is found in the start menu folder that contains the rest of your Steel Panthers World at War items. It requires a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download).

H2H can be found at Panzer Leo's site.

Original Steel Panthers Strategy and Tactics Primer (link).

Larry Holt's FAQ MUST READ!!

Our Own Cpt Pixel's Artillery Guide

Our Own Cpt Pixel's Direct Fire Guide (read if you are having trouble assualting a position i.e. you feel you should be inflicting casualties but are receiving them instead)

These links were working as of 3-29-04.

Hi Minefield,
I wasn't asking for myself, but for the newer players who maybe haven't read the manual (I've been playing for several years and haven't read it all either) or be aware of these other great references that you listed. If there is going to be a FAQ listed at the top of the forum, then the link should be active. If it were to be changed to show the link to Larry Holt's FAQ site, that would be great. I was just trying to point this out. [:D]

I think I was aware of your intent, and I put the information here as well as under the sticky post in case anyone was looking for it and came across your post.
