Troubles on Startup after installation.

Well I just installed the program and ran it. The first thing I noticed is that the image/view is way oversized for my screen. Most of the startup image is not visible!

After the program stops loading, I get the message:

"Wave out open MMSYSTEM004 The specified device is already in use. Wait until it is free and then try again."

Any ideas?

Hi Brian, I just saw your message. What screen resolution are you running? The game runs in 1024 by 768.

The sound library is third-party and I haven't seen that error before but it may be related to the screen resolution which may be causing an error and then the library loads improperly. Just a guess. Any chance you can change your screen res to 1024 when running the game?

Hi Frank,

I re-sized the screen and that helped with the screen size issue, but I am still getting the other error message.

I'm not sure what Marc is talking about when he says "Please attach a DirectX Dialog file." Is he talking to me?

Frank, do you think you will add the miniatures option to your other campaign softwares? I think that is a fantastic idea! I can't wait to try this one!

Yep, I was meaning you, sorry for beeing not specific here.

When you hit on "Post Reply" you will have the option to "Click here to upload!" , it´s the fourth row I think. Clikcing on that brings up a pop up where you browse to the specific file on your hardrive.

Hi, your sound chips driver is very old, please update to the latest version and see if that allready helps.

Hi Marc,

Can you tell me how I update that driver?

Also, the program has pretty much quit working for me. Now it does not show any units and if I move around the map eventually it is overrun with black boxes.

I even tried re-installing the software to no avail.
