Quitting Game

Post by jheydt »

I just purchased this game and tried it out. Can't report any bugs as yet but, as others have mentioned, the scrolling is very erratic and jerky. However my main problem is this. I can save a game but how do you quit a game? There is no dropdown menu nor is there anything in the buttons on the right side of the screen that would allow you to quit. After I saved my game a quit dialogue didn't come up. I checked the manual and could find no mention of quitting the game.
What I eventually did was go to the Danube icon on the taskbar and right clicked close. I then got 2 or 3 error messages.

What am I missing?

I found this by accident: hit Escape.

Followed by a game crash and freeze which needs a Ctrl-Alt-Del????

P1.7, 512 MB, 16MB Radeon Mobility M6, Acer 1403 notebook if you're interested.

Bit of a letdown after nice start[&:]

ESC works fime. My main glitch is a intermittant lock up when a small force is given orders to withdraw.

John, how's it going, buddy? Up for a PBEM on this?

All discovered the use of the "ESCape" key to exit the game by accident, but it works for me consistently without locking up.
