Lagging?

As I have seen on youtube the clicking menues seeme quite intant in their games. My fresh installation is faar from there yet. My cursor never seem to stop its "loading icon". I can manouver around but "hovering info" and clicking on diffrent filters takes to long (between 5-15sec).

Is it possible that this new game is not yet 100% set and that fastness is aquired if you wait out the loading icon (cursor).
Is it possible I need to install something extra (addon:ish) to make the game crispier?

First, you need to patch up to the latest version 1.06.92.

Then start the game, go to "Options" on the main menu for either BTR or ED.

From options, make sure "Use Windowed Mode" is clicked on. You should be able to play the game smoothly, albeit on a smaller, windowed screen.

You will get serious lag trying to run it in full screen mode, unless you run it through DXWnd. Instructions for that are in the readme file of the patch.
