You're doing just fine.....Leningrad will hold, which is huge.
One lesson learned as Soviets: ALWAYS garrison cities in your rear with something, even an unready unit. It can put a brake on runaway breakouts. You don't want to allow the Germans to just roll into an undefended city like Kharkov
