CRT changes not showing up

Post by StuccoFresco »

Hi all, due to some experimenting on the timescale and hex size I'd like to modify the CRT tables for combat and bombardment (stands to reason that with, for example, 1 turn/day, I should significantly raise combat losses for all sides since it's the equivalent of 5 turns of combat/bombardment under the default 5-turns-per-day system).

However, the modified values don't show up in game.

I'm able to modify the other files with the same encoding when editing scenarios so it doesn't seem to be a problem with libreoffice. I attached the modified files. The tables ingame show the default values, and the same goes for the combat pop ups.

EDIT: attached the right files now

No idea why but today I tested a bombardment ingame and with a strength of 28 and a 10 on the dice it indeed showed the modified Strenght/Readiness losses.

So I take it that your modified CRT code is now working? Don.

For what it’s worth, after chatting with battlecommandgames, I asked Brian Kelly (Saint Ruth) to take a look at your mod’s . . . Thinking it may just be a small error in the modified code.

Probably fidgeted with the values and corrected some mistake (an invisible space?) while at it. Everything shows up correctly now.
