Finland declares independence and Italy activates its Libyan colonies at Call to Arms 1914 campaign

Post by Easter80 »

Hi there.

I've recognised two bugs. After Finland has declared its independence from Russia hexfield 208, 14 is still Russian, which means that the railway and road to the harbour town of Petsamo is blocked. In my own little mod I've corrected the hexfield in the readme data file.

The other one is if the Italian colony of Libya is liberated by the CP, but Italy itself is still fighting, in the following turn it will be reactivated again for Italy and all CP units vanish. I had to load the previous turn again and deactivate the mobilization of the Italian colonies in Libya in the scripts. Afterward it worked.

Kind regards.

Hi

I've made a note of the first, though am confused by the second, as there are no Mobilization scripts for Libya.

The only one relating to Libya is this one, but it leads to Italy mobilizing:

; Entente Declare War on Libya resulting in a 100%
; increase in Italian activation towards the Entente:
{
#NAME= Central Powers DoW On Libya (Italy->Entente)
#POPUP=
#IMAGE=
#SOUND=
#FLAG= 1
#TYPE= 1
#AI= 0
#LEVEL= 0
; Set global variable condition to always trigger (dummy value)
#GV= 1[1,100]
; Set link value to always trigger (dummy value)
#LINK= 0[0]
#COUNTRY_ID= 59
#TRIGGER= 100
;100% activation increase towards Entente
#MOBILIZATION= [100,100] [2]
;Libya declared war on by Entente
#CONDITION= 63 [1] [1]
}

Hi Bill.

If Libya will be liberated by the CP and Italy is still at war against them, as the following turn of the Entente has finished, the Libyan colonies will get back to Italy and the CP unit in the capital Tripolis and also the two partisan units will vanish, but won't be calculated as losses for the CP. I've deactivated the mobilization of the Libyan colonies of Italy in the scripts manually and played the turn with liberating Tripolis again. Then it worked, but it should work automatically. That's definitely a bug.

Kind regards.

I've just realised we're talking in the WWI Classic forum, so I just want to check, is it the classic version we're talking about, rather than our far more recent WWI release?

Hello Bill.

I'm sorry for using the wrong forum. It's in the SC 3 game.
