Happy Birthday

I don't know exactly what is missing, but I haven't had interest in buying music for years now.

I have all the great music of the 60's 70's and forward from those groups that were great then, and are still producing.

Rush is still great, and still producing.

Got their Live in Rio dvd for Christmas, and they are still several levels better than most of the market out there.

Well, I'm certainly not going to turn this into a band bashing post (because it really is only personal tastes), but personally, and only in my opinion which is worth dirt, I've never been a Rush fan. Musicianship, they are top notch!! I wish I could play bass like Getty, as I am a bass player and I do play in a band. But for me they're music just never had a hook. Actually, it was probably too good! [:)] I grew up in the 70's, but my favorite bands are definitely the 80's metal bands. The 90's never had anything special for me, and the current music is so flash in the pan stuff, one hit wonders, that I never bothered to buy any of it. But that's most likely the fact that I'm getting older, and still clinging on to my roots. [8D]

But you have a great birthday!!!

From one 42 year old to another, RUSH ROCKS!!! [&o] One of the best products from North of the border.

Nah no ASL, I had to settle for (A)wesome (S)ex (L)oudly :)

On the downside, I wish I could get the last two modules for the Minors.

On the upside, I own all the real core modules (the ones that actually count).

I can play the game without Hungarians or Danes fortunately. But it sucks trying to invade Tarawa without any Japanese or Marines for instance. And the war in the desert is boring if you have no British or Italians.

Getting a complete set of Journals is likely higher on my list. But having a local that lets me read his has made getting them less urgent.

Oh I have had Moosehead by the way, but I tend to drink Labatts Blue or Molson Canadien more often.

I usually order draft when out for a dinner outting. I don't drink other wise (having my disability rules out having beer in the house as a good idea :) ). Tooooooo easy to get into a bad habit.

Mine was at the Lane County fairgrounds. That's in my college town of Eugene Oregon for you non-Northwest folks. Was the Permanent Waves tour, but they played many of the older songs including a great 2112 that I can still hear. Also debuted one of my favs, Jacob's Ladder.

How many times have you seen them Bullet?
