Scrolling niggle

Post by HobbesACW »

Hi folks, looks like a fabulous game. A slight problem with scrolling.

My parameters.

Game edge scrolling works fine in all directions apart from the top edge. It only works if I move the mouse pointer to the right of help. Otherwise it is ignored and the map will not scroll.

Do you use Discord? There are some issues with the Discord overlay interfering with screen interaction in game. Just want to eliminate that as a potential culprit before we dive further.

Thanks!

What's your screen resolution set to?

I can replicate your issue. I'll create a JIRA(6690) and see if we can fix the behavior.

While you wait for us to fix this, you should also be able to fix this by adjusting the Top value in the Program row to something like 10 to 20. That should increase the detected area and give you more to work with.

I think I missed the last post but changing the number makes no difference for me.

Make sure you are changing the correct row of values (it will only have an effect if you change the row that you have checked on the left). You might also try changing it to some obscenely high value like 100 or 200 then working down until it's something that you like.

Chris, my bug report files for this are still in our active bug queue, but we are dealing with the bigger fish at the moment. I did add a note to see if anyone had a chance to review this further.
