However the loiter speed of the tanker is 230 kts.

While the max speed of the BH is 155 kts.

Pretty sure this is why the US uses KC-130s to refuel helos.

To expand a little on Dimitris comments, AAR is an area were we intentionally don't enforce some real world restrictions such as speed and altitude. If a rendezvous can be achieved and the tanker and refuelee have compatible refueling systems, then the tanker will offload fuel. It's there to help the AI. This goes back to the very early days CMANO, were IIRC, such restrictions were not in place. It was not uncommon for aircraft to drop out of the sky on a regular basis.
