Archival footage of the battles of Eastern Solomons and Santa Cruz

Post by Scona »

Episode 537 of the Unauthorized History of the Pacific War Podcast has film footage taken aboard the USS Enterprise during both its actions at the Eastern Solomons and Santa Cruz. There is also some footage of the USS Hornet at Santa Cruz taken from various escorts in her screen. The images are a real look into what was happening on these vessels during the hot actions in 1942 and a valuable historical resource.
