1861UnitBlocks Mod

Post by bundori »

I like the board wargame style representation of the units as the wooden blocks in "Command & Colors" from GMT Games. So I made a mod for SC:ACW. It only changes the 3D-units. Contains a full set of units for all major powers and their minors (although most units not in the game yet) for future use/modding.
If anyone is interested, I can post the zip file.

My warmest congratulations, this is another way of enjoying this wonderful game.
I think we would all appreciate being able to play with blocks in all the DLCs as well; in my case I tried to play the Spanish–American War of 1898 and the Mexican War of 1846, but I was not able to switch to blocks.

I only play the ‚grand campaigns ‘ of the strategic command titels, no minor scenarios or DLCs, and always modify it to fit my personel taste.
Sorry, the mod represents only the 1860s.
