The best thing to do here is contact Matrix support. My guess is that it is looking for a copy of Southern Storm if you purchased the bundled/discounted version somewhere.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

Also make sure you're consistently installing the game from the same source (don't mix and match a Matrix direct download with a Steam download.)
