unable to unload all troops

Post by robertkeller »

When unloading amphibious mission I frequently am unable to unload all troops...left with either 180 or 360 cargo load....doesn't matter if I go to a different port....Unload portion says "unable to unload all troops in this location" (or something like that wording) even though all the rest of the same unit was successfully loaded at that port.

You need naval support. And if you have any LST's for the heavy equipment they will load and unload almost anywhere....GP

There' been a number of forum post recently on the same subjet. There is no bug. As btd64 said, more naval support is needed.

This may help clarify what is happening. https://forums.matrixgames.com/viewtopi ... d#p5256357

That can mean that the ships or the port ran out of unload points, or that there is some very heavy object that cannot be unloaded at that size port. It can take up to 3 days to unload a radar amphibiously so try for at least that long. More than once I have had to take a radar back to a bigger base, unload it and wait for the port at the target base to be built up - or for beaching craft like LSTs to be available.

Two usual hard-to-unload things are motorized support and radars.
