I wanted to buy the game but

War in Spain 1936-39 is the first in a new wargame series, using a new Land-Sea-Air engine inspired by War in the Pacific - Admiral’s Edition. Gameplay and realism are improved by TRUE AI and a detailed Logistics systems. A hyper detailed OOB reaches down to battalion and company level. A beautiful, hand drawn, 5 nautical mile per hex map massively increases player immersion.

I wanted to buy the game but

1: The Matrix/Slitherine system failed to send a confirmation code to my e-mail address to complete the last stage of purchase - after four attempts I stopped then:
2: When I went to the support center my Bitdefender (one of the better security services here in Canada) declared it was unsafe and would not allow me to enter so
3: I shall wait (grumbling) until the game is on Steam!

I wasn't sent any email as the last stage of purchase. But then I already had an account and had purchased software from the Matrix Store site previously. As soon they took my card details on the site, there was a Download button and the software was available.

If you are being told that an email is being sent, then check your account information to make sure they have the right email address and check your spam folder in case your email provider is treating the message as spam.

Thanks Potski: I have never had this issue before - I checked e-mail address and spam and all the other usual locations. And I am a member: But I really, really want the game so will try and see if what happened to you works for me!

We're sorry to hear that you had issues with the Matrix website. Could you please confirm if your purchase went through, but you didn't receive a serial key or were you unable to even purchase the game in the first place?

Depending on how things go, we're hoping to release the game on Steam sometime in the future.

Turns out fault of VISA not Matrix or Slitherine: Imbeciles at VISA were still using my home phone, not my mobile phone number - which of course was utterly incapable of displaying the code. Am wasting a lot of time with VISA getting them to show some intelligence (next comes threats to shift all accounts to Mastercard).

I WILL get the game - even if I have to wait until it gets onto Steam. But rest assured the issue was not your fault.
