Terrain does not load

Hi, I just downloaded the game and started with the Balearic Islands Tutorial. Sadly, the interface and terrain hexes don't show, they are just green.

I add a picture. I wish I could get some help

That looks like this issue described in the readme.txt file. Here's the relevant section:

A few players have had problems with particular Intel graphics cards, usually found in laptops. Most of these players disabled the card, to force the OS to use the second GPU in their machine.
For those who choose not to do this or those with only one GPU in their machine, we offer this wrapper software which has worked for some players:

You will find a file called ddraw.dll in the Manuals folder of the War In Spain installation folder. Move or copy the file into the root folder of the game, at the same level as the WIS.exe file and then the game with automatically use this wrapper.

Move that ddraw.dll file as described above and restart the game exe and let us know if that fixes the issue.

That did solve problem with loading the terrain for me, but problems about that 'transparent LCI list exists and game freezes up now from time to time...

You can minimize the sidebar, like a normal window. Maybe that will help until we have a better fix.

Thanks for the tip! It worked for the terrain. I also have the same problem with the LCU list when playing in full-screen mode, so I play in window-size and it does not matter.
