no tutorials

War in Spain 1936-39 is the first in a new wargame series, using a new Land-Sea-Air engine inspired by War in the Pacific - Admiral’s Edition. Gameplay and realism are improved by TRUE AI and a detailed Logistics systems. A hyper detailed OOB reaches down to battalion and company level. A beautiful, hand drawn, 5 nautical mile per hex map massively increases player immersion.

I am an old guy. I really would prefer to have a written tutorial rather than having to watch a YouTube video. Any chance the video tutorials could have a transcript posted, with some images to illustrate stuff?

I was thinking of doing an AAR and maybe I can include pictures of how to do certain things.

Currently waiting for the subsequent episodes to release but this is a really well-prepared and informative intro to the tutorial scenario: https://youtu.be/QX8il8ErLqU?si=vmadVMkOjw_aPLI2

Does a good job of explaining basic navigation, terrain & infrastructure, and the different info panes as well as understanding the order of battle structure.

I am doing explanations and including pictures of how to do certain things in the game. It may be comprehensive, I could have done things like this in the Beta testing phase with the last build but I was not asked. Then it could have been published in a file. But feel free to copy everything that I have posted and save it to a file.

Are you doing this in an AAR or in a video? Inquiring minds would like to know... ;)

SGD is no longer active on Youtube and he has abandoned his channel 3 years ago, so it is unlikely you'll find any content for this game on his channel. I got you what you need on mine.

The dev team's own BananaConvention has been producing tutorial videos covering game basics and other areas of the game here: https://forums.matrixgames.com/viewtopic.php?t=415050

In a future update, we're planning to link the tutorial playlist into the game's main menu, so that it's readily available. Keep your eyes open on the forums for announcements and changelogs.
