No MPP for Italy

Post by ManuelS »

Playing 1914 Call To Arms PBEM, ussually without issues, in this particular challenge Italy is dragged to war in 1917 and don´t receive any MPP. Never happen when entering the war in 1915 in the usual path.

In the MPP grarphic appear a low green line around hundred MPP, the total in green nunmer says 214, I supposed becouse is for two turns, but the number of MPP available to use in the main screen at the left says cero.

The challenge is currntly at the server with the ID number 502983

Have Decision Events fired that when responded to positively, have resulted in MPP deductions at the end of the turn, resulting in you starting the next turn with no income?

About Decision Events Austria-Hungary gave Trieste and Trento to Italy in 1915 tht shoud have given even more MPP tan usual hen Central Poers declared war in 1917.
The only other two decision event presented to Italy after the entrance in war was the posibity to sabotage in Austrohungarian ports, that I answer NO, and the transfer of colonial troops to Cyrenaica that I answer YES

As you can notice there is not blue line in the graphic and the total is cero as I was not able to spend any MMP. Italy was just not collecting anything, not even the meager amount shown in the green line. That situation lasted three turns until Italy eventually surrender.

There was nothing unusual about that.

In the same turn that Central Powers declared war Italy was invaded from the thre sides:
Austria-Hungary,
Switzerland that hada joined Central Powers
and France, already defeated.

IN the first turn most of northern Italy was occupied. THat´explain why Entente was getting only around huundred MMp every turn from Italy. Coudn´t be so bad if the Entente could use that hundred MPP to reinforce at least.

But the unusual situation was that the suppodsely avalaible italians MPP were more frozen than a russian asset. This is why the tittle of this thead is called No MPP for Italy.

The graph does show that Italy was collecting MPPs at the end of its turns while it was at war, as 214 were collected.

If you then start the next Entente turn with none, the only explanation is that Decision Events were deducting an equal or greater sum of MPPs.
