Weird National HQs behavior

Post by melvi »

On turn 13 I fount a bunch of National HQs in the middle of nowhere going nowhere.
wtf are doing those HQs there01.jpg

So I went to the previous turn and loaded the National turn to see this:
wtf are doing those HQs there02.jpg
wtf are doing those HQs there02.jpg (1012.45 KiB) Viewed 151 times

That moving command don’t have much sense since my point of view. Looks like they are treated as combat units instead going to form their respective colums/regiments.
Turn 12 and 13 attached.

Are you asking why they went there?

Or that they are HQ?

Yes i was wondering why they all went there. I just feel surprised of the AI doing that "rare" move towards the north west with all their HQs where they will be surrounded by my units instead moving east to form their colums/regiments.

I know what you're thinking...

So far, the AI uses units in a bit of a weird way.

But it's a big advantage for the live player.
By composing higher units (in development we called them containers) the player gains a certain advantage over the AI.

You'll have to ask elsewhere why the AI doesn't organize units into higher LCUs.
