Nice.
Convoys, I'll just point out that even escort ships that don't have ASW weapons can handle a certain form of ASW combat.
They won't destroy the submarine, but they will prevent it from making a precise attack.
So it makes sense to assign a PB armed with one cannon to the convoy.

Interesting

We tried to develop this for WW1, when ASW weapons were relatively few at the beginning of the war.
I think the programmer did a pretty good job...
And it also prevents the submarine from surfacing and using the deck gun.
(of course, in exceptional cases, the PB may be sunk by the submarine).

Not sure why, but when I see "militians" i really want it to say martians.
First German transport aircraft arrived in Cadiz, packaged and labeled "some assembly required"
General advance in the south after securing the area.

Battle for Oviedo commences as Republican forces launch daring assault across. They pay a price and ultimately the initial crossing fails. COR Norena Echevarria is the commander of the No.32 Regimiento de Infant and the senior officer, prepared the defenses as best he could. With a collection of 4 Infantry Battalions and a handful of engineers and artillery pieces he vows to hold the town at all costs.

A feature added I'd like to see is when you click on a base location, either a list of future reinforcements to that base are displayed, or a button that does the same.

The Republicans regrouped and the next day forced their way across the river. Despite heavy losses, they managed to to establish a bridgehead across the river.
Madrid Front - the focus here has just to establish a defensive line along the mountain line and prevent any Republican forces from pushing northwards.

a collection of Steves working the docks

That is another term for the dockworkers that load and/or unload the ships and boats. But they could all be named Steve!

Troops from North Africa are pushing towards Malaga, where the battle for the city is soon to commence
Huelva sector secure, shifting those forces north.
Nationalists forces push their way to the besieged down of Oviedo, opening a route for much needed supplies. Now their sights are on Gijon.

nice, though I do wish I cared about that. I hope for the day I finally experience supply/resource shortages and or at least bottlenecks.

After two weeks the fort town Tolosa is soon to fall. Just one more domino in the chain.
Are Republican forces moving through the mountains from Madrid for some shenanigans?
Republican forces launch attack to retake Mieres. The AI looks at river crossings and dismisses all challenges they present.

I have experienced fuel shortages where 1 truck device out of fuel made the entire unit move at 2 movement points per day, that was on clear terrain on a road. That unit was savaged during the retreat.
I also had supply issues on Mallorca before I started shipping supplies in from Italy. The Republican air units still controlled the Med at that time.
But coal is used to fuel some ships and, from my understanding, used to operate LI in order to produce supplies. So if there is a lack of coal, it is better for your enemy to suffer from that than your forces suffering from that!
