I really like the Mogamis in the CL configuration & I wish for a path to keep them & still get the AA upgrades etc. As it is, I have to choose one of the long upgrades/rebuilds or fall behind in radar & AAA upgrades.

I like the performance of the 155/60 gun, basically it will go through anything afloat that an 8" gun goes through - there is not too many ships that would have armor between 200 & 287.
And having 15 of them is a good thing, there is a reason why Boise & friends command as much respect as they do.

I kind of agree the 6.1-inch gun was surprisingly good...all sources I checked seem to agree.

The Mogami itself in this mod is now an experimental class with its own upgrade path in the FP version, with much lighter armour but very high speed (let's think of a cheaper Tone class). The other Mogami class can convert to a similar or convert to the CA version or remain CL as they are.

BUT to enable the very high speeds on the CL the AA is not improved so much and in 44 the TT reloads are removed - OK?

Well, it depends, on ships here are some extras... but note the Redwood class, last allied DD with automatic 5-inchers and SSM!

Allied subs...Some of the subs are one-offs like we have a couple of Australian subs (as historically proposed but not bought from UK), a Polish sub - loss unknown, and the expanded UK Thames class...

Here are some more biggies, but there are a lot more and interesting support ships, especially to support allied invasions...

Been taking a bit more time on leaders. Making sure Japan can use commanders who generally lead from the front (some allies as well), plus fixing some found glitches, it takes a long time, over 6 Scn. PP are higher for changing many leaders now, those deemed with political influence, especially( not always the good ones). PP will now be more relevant in the game and slow down the reallocation of large LCU in general, which is desirable.

I have been trying to see if I can place TF with units aboard in sea hexes - tried lots of different angles, but it will not happen, so put it all back as it was... But what I did do was add some Cameo opportunities... Here is a neat one of a Kind of 2nd River Plate - could maybe happen :). I hope to do final checking in the next day or so, and for definite out at the weekend.

All done, just waiting on my IT guy to check the links independently...latest tomorrow.

BUT the actual files are in my main 365 folder now ( same link and PW as existing),but you need to get the art as well. You need to replace ( not just add) all that was there before. Hope you can follow the attached.

Official links should be tomorrow.

Still waiting on my IT, but this link in this PDF seems to work ok but the other, for some reason, dug into the files. On the main link you can easily see the files.

Sorry, I cannot download your mod from OneDrive.

Microsoft Online gives me login errors (some Azure stuff). I have always had problems with accessing OneDrive since 2022.

Is there any way you can put all the mod files in a zip for downloading from some other site?

BTW, I have your scen files, some Chemkidd extended map, and extended pw files from DaBigBabes mod so I was able to load your scen 042 this way and have a look. Love those obsolete early-war aircraft and big Chinese partisan units. And the big British recon air group in Malayas!

Let me see - it's just the art, I assume?

Glad you like some of it, what you have seen is the tip of the iceberg...

The partisans are there mainly to break down and hinder the Japanese, not really fight them.
The obsolete aircraft (both sides) are actually not so obsolete as the game opens, but by early 42, they will become so, which makes for an interesting start for both sides.
The air units are overhauled, yes, and many of the Blenheim 1s by early 42 were being used in more like recon roles. Well reflected in this mod.

Let me see what to do about the art....

I need:

- old extended map art files
- all ship/aircraft art ( I see lots of BLANK for aircraft and empty spots for ships)
- map dat files (pwhexe and the others)
