Maximum TOE slots limit?

Post by Wiedrock »

What's the maximum amount of Ground Elements (slots of different equipment) a TOE can hold?

The classic TOE still has 20 slots, just like in AE.
(or 19 if we count from zero)

A container can hold a large number of slots, but I don't know the exact number, I've never encountered such a limit.

So the answer is 20. Thanks.

...and a container in context of a Divisional TOE is what exactly? The manual only mentions RSVs as being containers.

Containers are now named Combat Groups in the manual. The term 'container' was used for Combat Groups during development. The 20 device slot limit applies (only) to Land Combat Units (battalions, companies, batteries; LCU). A Combat Group can contain several LCU of various numbers and/or types, defined by the scenario designer (by using the editor). Combat Groups are the sum of their parts and can contain more than 20 device slots (depends on what devices their subordinat LCU contain).

This answers all questions I have right now and also gave me the right manual sections to look at.
Appreciate the clarity in your replies!
Thanks.
