Correct mod install location for WarPlan (Steam at least for me)

FYI Correct mod install location for WarPlan (Steam at least for me).
X:\WhereI_HaveMySteamGamesInstalled\steamapps\common\WarPlan\WarPlan_Data\
THERE mods seem to work (NOT in the Documents folder).

I had no end of problems trying to get modded units.png and even the game's "unitsAlt.png" to show up ingame.
(apparently the game overwrites with original files)
Same problem on another computer
Yes, OneDrive is OFF

From Google and even directions on this forum indicate to put mods in

C:\Users\"your user name"\Documents\My Games\WarPlan\Campaigns\"campaign folder you want it in"

Instead, for STEAM at least, wat worked is the mods go in the X:\WhereI_HaveMySteamGamesInstalled\steamapps\common\WarPlan\WarPlan_Data\Campaigns\ i.e. Ardennes Offensive 1944 or some other campaign you want to play;;
Which can be quickly accessed by going to Steam library > Warplan (rightClick>Manage> Browse local files> (then once in there)> WarPlan_Data (folder) > Campaigns (folder) and change the "unitsAlt.png" to "units.png"

BTW did anyone do a Stalingrad scenario for this?
