Italians

War in Spain 1936-39 is the first in a new wargame series, using a new Land-Sea-Air engine inspired by War in the Pacific - Admiral’s Edition. Gameplay and realism are improved by TRUE AI and a detailed Logistics systems. A hyper detailed OOB reaches down to battalion and company level. A beautiful, hand drawn, 5 nautical mile per hex map massively increases player immersion.

Do they magically appear in Spain or have to be transported from Italy?

Both, look at the incoming reinforcements as to their location.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I don't have the game, so do Italians also get all their fleet too?

Well then, you can't look and see that either as to when the ships come in and depart.

The italians get a few ships, and some come and go.

Basically what was used to support the Nationalists in Spain will make an appearance, nothing more.

The Italian corps appears in its original form in Italy.
Later, only some specific units appear in Italy.

The corps began to be supplemented by Spaniards relatively early.
I thought a lot about how to do it...

Later, at the battalion level (or separate company), Spanish units appear in Italian divisions. They usually had Italian command, but even that was gradually replaced by Spaniards at the battalion level. And they are built according to Italian TOE.
The disbanded Italian units end up in pools and serve to supplement other units.

I think only the Littorio division maintained a purely Italian composition until the end of the war.

I have dealt with this quite a lot and for a long time and in detail.
But I am sure that no one will be satisfied with it.
