US West Coast supply

Post by Bella »

I’ve brought this up here before. I’m playing Allied, at January 27, 1943. The West Coast of North America is not producing much supply. Red exclamation marks everywhere. Becoming a problem. I was told that eventually supply will begin to ramp up and sort itself out. Not yet, I guess?

This is a problem with the 28 patch. It's fixed in the next update....GP

While we wait for the patch, does this mean the most recent patch is not playable as a PBEM game? Does anyone have a PBEM game underway and what is your experience?

Great. What is the supply situation on the west coast? Is the lack of supply preventing you from having a decent game?

No issues, LA is full and most ports have adequate stocks.

I looked back at my notes. One thing that showed up was the west coast supply. That problem is associated with v.27. V.28 comtained the fix but I never had the time to test it....GP

I am playing V28 Scenario 3 as the allies and I have not had an issue with supply.

I have Version 1.8.21.27.2 Jul 31 2022………I guess that means Version 27? So I’m humped. I’m more than a year into this game, real time. Not going to start over. Can I update and still play the same game?

If you are playing scenario 1, what version of aei001.dat do you have?

If it's this,
aei001.dat 27 Beta
aei001.dat 27 Beta
ae27beta.png (2.63 KiB) Viewed 224 times
then there's not much to do about it. Can't change the data files after you started the game, and that version is the one with the vastly reduced supply allocations.

It's not so much a question of which .exe you are using, it's the data base the scenario is based on.
