disbanding units

War in Spain 1936-39 is the first in a new wargame series, using a new Land-Sea-Air engine inspired by War in the Pacific - Admiral’s Edition. Gameplay and realism are improved by TRUE AI and a detailed Logistics systems. A hyper detailed OOB reaches down to battalion and company level. A beautiful, hand drawn, 5 nautical mile per hex map massively increases player immersion.

disbanding units

Post by hightower88 »

Do units set to disband on a specific date return their devices to the pool or should I manually game the system and transfer to an RSV and disband? Those RSVs that get disbanded do seem to return the devices to the pool.

The devices go into the pools.

All units that have a disband set on a certain date will disappear from the map. And they will hand over their soldiers and weapons to the national pools.
Completely automatically without manual intervention.

There are a few exceptions. For example, the Air support ground units of the Soviet army will be disbanded and their equipment will not be in the pools.
There will be no more Soviet units and there is no reason to keep the Soviet pools.
