What's going on with supply/upgrades in Turkey

Post by ThunderLizard11 »

Turkey was attacked by Axis and is on Allied side. But can't seemt to upgrade or reinforce allied units despite having 6 or 7 level supply. Is this a bug?

Turkey can be upgraded with Soviet tech, so it all depends on if the USSR has researched the relevant upgrades, and whether it has the MPPs to spare.

If Turkey is considered Russian territory, could that be the issue.

Spot on. They are uncooperative allies. It doesn't matter who diplo'd Turkey - they align with Russia. Mongolia is the same.

Well it is realistic that the Soviets and WAllies are non-cooperating allies. Ideologically incompatible.

Russia yes I can see that. Turkey no I don't see that. In fact they are even members of NATO today and if they had joined they would have been cooperating allies. In fact they did DOW Germany and Japan in February 1945.

Minors take the same settings as their Major in this respect, which means Turkey, under Soviet tutelage as its Minor, is uncooperative with the western Allies. It might not be ideal but it is the way things are.
