War in Spain review inquiry

Question to WITPAE players.

Do you like War in Spain (WIS?!!). Why? What about AI perfomance?

Did not play WITP for 10 years, played Rule the waves 3 for the first time for 3 month in row lately, and for some reason want to play WITP now for coming few years. But also intrested in WIS. Please review the game and share yourt thoughts.

There is a thread on this forum about WIS and probably an extensive one on the Main Matrix forum. The gist of it is that the AI is much better but it is a land/air game without a real naval component.

You refer to WITP which was a predecessor to WITP-AE. WITP-AE is much more involved and covers more area than WITP. If you have not yet tried it I recommend WITP-AE for its naval and logistics content.

War in Spain DOES have a naval component. It is not as large as WitPAE but it is there. The engine is Brand New as well. It is not a GG game. With all of that said, check out the WiS Forum for more info....GP
