Direct fire hard-coded?

Post by jungelsj_slith »

I was thinking about a mod at a lower scale, but chatting with AI just now (hehe), it sounds like direct fire is hard-coded at one hex only? It would certainly be a very “hacky” mod, but something at company/battalion level would need multi-hex direct fire.

You can amend the strike range of all units, so try it out and see if it works for you.

Aye yes you can amend artillery to target at a variety of ranges. Many scenarios and mods in the SC ecosystem have varying ranges depending on scale etc, so tactical ranges can be quite long for example. ⚡
