Re: Quick Questions Thread
I think they are meant to be HQ parent ( or "to give guidance) for the AA small guns, AA medium guns and AA heavy guns units.
If you open the "unit organization" screen, does it has subunits under his command?

It is the headquarters unit for the AA units that have weapons.Q-Ball wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 3:39 pm What does this unit do exactly? It's classified as an AA unit, but it doesn't have any AA guns.
What is it's purpose? The Republic gets a number of them

Re: Quick Questions Thread
Ok, I found the answer in the Editors Manual.atheory wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 3:57 pmDreamslayer wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 3:50 pm Some bases in the base info screen have the info about Fortifications like "4(2)". What does "2" mean in this case?
Typically a number in parenthesis is a limiting value. So usually the number in parenthesis +3 is the maximum number that hex can achieve
So I believe that hex can only have a max fort size of 5 (currently it's 4)
"Static Fort- Certain Forts are firmly constructed and can only be lowered temporarily. This is the fort level the base will reacquire once no opposition is in hex."
Some bases on the north have it.

When Show Hex Side Ownership [W] is turned on, some bases show a color-coded exclamation mark that is not visible in normal map mode. It looks like they may be related to supply levels (similar to WitP AE in normal map mode), but I haven't been able to find a description in the game documentation. Have I missed where these marks are described?

Check the base screen (click on the name in yellow) and it will show what the base demands and what it has so you might be able to see the issue. I don't know where in the manual this is located - yet!rmeckman wrote: Wed Feb 25, 2026 8:42 pm When Show Hex Side Ownership [W] is turned on, some bases show a color-coded exclamation mark that is not visible in normal map mode. Re: Quick Questions Thread
In WitP AE, a yellow exclamation mark indicated available supplies less than 2 times required, and a red one indicated available supplies less than required. Seems to match what I see in WIS.RangerJoe wrote: Wed Feb 25, 2026 9:13 pm Check the base screen (click on the name in yellow) and it will show what the base demands and what it has so you might be able to see the issue. Re: Quick Questions Thread
Portugal and France both have supply production, fuel stockpiles, etc. Portugal even has a large Refinery outside Lisbon. Portugal is "friendly" for the Nationlists, and France for the Republic.
Does this have any impact on the game?
1. Doesn't appear that you can dock or repair ships in these ports; correct? (You could in initial release)
2. Doesn't appear you can pick-up supplies or fuel either from these nations
3. Does any supply/fuel flow accross the national border?
If "no" to all of these, then really, there's no purpose at all....correct?

Re: Quick Questions Thread
During the beta testing, I sent a convoy from Kiel to San Sebastian - or at least I tried to do so since I gave them a waypoint along the way. They ended up in France at least 4 hexes from the sea which must have been a very large and localized Tsunami. I was assured that the supplies that were slowly unload would make their way to Spain. The ships never did leave the dry land . . .Q-Ball wrote: Wed Feb 25, 2026 10:01 pm Portugal and France both have supply production, fuel stockpiles, etc. Portugal even has a large Refinery outside Lisbon. Commanders of many airbases have the high air skill. Some of them have the air skill higher than some air-groups. Do these units getting any effect from the Air skill or for airbase leaders need only Land and Admin skills?

I have posted in my AAR about HQ units and how the Naval HQ leader does affect the naval combat.Dreamslayer wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 1:35 pm Commanders of many airbases have the high air skill. Re: Quick Questions Thread
I'm not about HQ's. I'm about units like airbases (AVs), e.g. El Prat de L. Base de Aviacion (near Barcelona) - its leader has Air skill 60, same time air-groups in Barcelona have leaders with Air skill - 54, 52, 52 and 33.RangerJoe wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 2:03 pm I have posted in my AAR about HQ units and how the Naval HQ leader does affect the naval combat.
For Naval bases - Naval base in Mahon (ENG).
I know about skills and HQ's.
Re: Quick Questions Thread
So the ground echelon leader has no effect on the air combats. Thank you for that air information.Dreamslayer wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 2:17 pmI'm not about HQ's. Re: Quick Questions Thread
Is there any way to request stuff in a base in lower numbers than 1000? I am thinking in fuel and oil. It would be great if I could ask for sayyyy 100 or 250 units here and there.

Re: Quick Questions Thread
Hi Thanks for your answers
Could you please be clear in which options do we need to validate in the setup in orther to create new combat units ?
Thanks
The same for the industry
In the manual is indicated that we can expand at least repair docks and train depots but actually I can't do it, I don't know for the rest of the industry in the current version of the game
Try to be very precise please
Thanks again

Re: Quick Questions Thread
Hi folks,
I got this status message about the Valencia drydock being out of supplies. I then looked up the unit screen, but I'm unsure what to do now. How can I resupply this thing?
Best,
bm

Re: Quick Questions Thread
I have the same message on my SCN a few times, maybe this is a bug?
Re: Quick Questions Thread
Go Valencia Puerto base, on the left push the anchor button. In the port screen that opens push the button "load tenders in this list". You´ll notice your ARD column "cap" will go from 0 to 4.burningman wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 10:36 pm Hi folks,

Thx!
And another quick question: How do I set the same "Planning for XY" command for all LCUs in the same hex?
