How can I install mods for Close Combat original series from GOG?

I bought Close Combat 2,3,4,5 from GOG.All is well but I want to install some mods I downloaded from google.drive repository link that is posted on a Steam Community discussion thread.But how do I install these mods on my games I bought from GOG and use them with Jonesoft Generic Mod Enabler?Let's take for example the Great War Mod.In its main folder it has 2 archives:one with a mappack and one with a plugin.It also has a subfolder with submods for the main game.The map-pack archive has a lot of files in it .Where do I unzip those ?The plugin file has a pln. archived file.This is an archive also that has a lot of files in it.Where do I put those files?The submod folder has 2 zip archives that also have some pln files.Where do I unzip those pln files?Other mods (like France 1940)have also some archived files with individual maps .Where do I unzip those files that contain those maps?And in the end how do I use the Generic Mod enabler with those files?Thanks for your answer.
