"New" base and industry info screens.

War in Spain 1936-39 is the first in a new wargame series, using a new Land-Sea-Air engine inspired by War in the Pacific - Admiral’s Edition. Gameplay and realism are improved by TRUE AI and a detailed Logistics systems. A hyper detailed OOB reaches down to battalion and company level. A beautiful, hand drawn, 5 nautical mile per hex map massively increases player immersion.

"New" base and industry info screens.

Post by melvi »

I updated the game to 165.53 and loaded the main campaign 1936-1939 I started playing with 165.52. I found new info in the base and industry info screens that there wasn´t there before. I haven´t touched preferences, they are still:

I don’t know if that’s intended or due to my preferences. I mean, I don’t know if anyone one else playing with default preferences see something like this.

PD: Umhh just in case someone wants to check, here is the savegame of the turn i used to take the screenshots ( scenario started with 165.52 and opened with 165.53 without touching preferences)

I see the same things. I believe that more industrial potential is coming into the game's execution file even if they are not in WIS but they could be added by modders. There was a factory making armoured cars if I remember correctly not to mention the armoured trucks and armoured trains.

For the time being, the new industry placeholders in 165.53 make it a little more difficult for players by increasing clutter and requiring a scroll-down to see industries at the bottom of the list.

Yes, i know about the Union Naval de Levante making those nice UNL-35 armored cars.
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/UNL-35 , sorry but the page has not english translation, only russian and italian.
My only concern, i dont mind seeing those "new" info data, is if the "required" "armament" and "afv points" are going to affect negatively in any way to my game.

Yes, if would be great if developers can make 2 more rows of industry types visable in the industry info screen, instead needing to scroll down that list.

Here is an article in English that describes the production but also the usage of these vehicles.
