I play in 1920x1080 and before the Beta it worked and it was much smaller but since I applied the Beta the Info bar is so large and no matter what I try it stays this way.

Do you have a screenshot showing the issue? What are your preferences set to?

I have the same problem as DerGrenadier89. Prior to installing the latest Beta Patch, I could use 1920x1080 resolution, Windowed and Enforce Low Resolution Art to enable a "small" toolbar at the top of the screen and a small info window at the bottom of the screen. With the latest Beta Patch installed (Build 165-53), the Enforce Low Resolution Art preference no longer works.

We have recently added a few more options to choose the UI size from.
But they are not yet added to the Windowed Preferences.
If you switch to the DirectX UI by use of the INI you can set a different UI size.
Once you are finished with setting it you can turn the DirectX UI off again.

The switch is in WIS_Settings.INI.
USE_PROGRAMMERS_USER_INTERFACE =
Set 1 for DirectX and 0 for going back to original UI mode.
The INI takes effect when starting the game.

The controls in the DirectX UI are here.
Smaller width usually also comes with lower height.

There is absolutely no benefit to having 5120 pixels of map visible. In fact, I see no reason to play this game at any bigger than 1400x1050.
The screen resolution that works for you might not necessarily work for others, given we are each different in personal preferences and technical setup.

In this case, it was my fault to not check the screen requirements, as most games I play are available in my preferred resolution without scaling. The devs seemed to understand and care, and resolved the situation with a refund, even though they did not have to. For that I am thankful.
