Official Update Announcement

War in Spain 1936-39 is the first in a new wargame series, using a new Land-Sea-Air engine inspired by War in the Pacific - Admiral’s Edition. Gameplay and realism are improved by TRUE AI and a detailed Logistics systems. A hyper detailed OOB reaches down to battalion and company level. A beautiful, hand drawn, 5 nautical mile per hex map massively increases player immersion.

Is there any expectation that the March 10 patch will be save breaking? I don't want to undertake a first game turn if it's just going to break.

Thanks!

It should not break any saves.

AE has an advantage of approaching one million posts. This after years with WitP. So much knowledge was shared. War in Spain is just starting out. To be honest our knowledge base is starting from scratch, just as when AE came out, and this is a different engine to figure out.
